Poor Mouchette | Curated Antique Jewelry, Vintage Jewelry & Engagement Rings | A striking contemporary toi et moi ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold, whose gems are a .70 carat, pear-shaped diamond (G/H, VS), and a vibrant, gold-flecked, lapis lazuli cabochon (also pear-shaped). The pyrite figuring in this lapis gem is heavy and especially fine, reading like a splash on one side. The 9 mm diamond has a big presence on the hand; it is sparkling, near-colorless and beautifully cut.

Lapis & Pear Shaped Diamond Toi et Moi Ring

Azure-blue, triangular slabs of lapis lazuli dangle beneath a bright pair of brilliant-cut white diamonds. The diamonds are mounted in an exaggerated bezel, which is circular and subtly organic in form. The lapis triangles are matte finished, and their book-matched edges are figured with a heavy streak of golden pyrite— they're are held in full, open-back bezels, and oriented point-down so they read like arrows, darts, or bolts of lightening.
