Re-sizing, restoration, and customization:

Poor Mouchette is happy to provide at-cost re-sizing for gold and silver rings, when re-sizing is possible. Some rings should not be re-sized— in these cases you will not see a “re-size this?” option on the item page.

I am happy to provide other customizations on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with your questions or ideas.

Guarantee:

Each item in my inventory is guaranteed as described. I endeavor to provide accurate and complete descriptions of every offering, along with a complete set of images.

Photography matters, and the fine details and textures of an object will always be highlighted in my photos. If you require additional images, or images larger than those displayed in the shop, please ask.

Layaway:

I offer layaway plans for anything that moves you. Plans are typically 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on the cost of the item and your budget. Please contact me with any questions or inquires . . . I love layaway and I'm happy to work with you on a personalized payment plan!

Appraisals:

When an appraisal is included with your purchase, it will always be an independent GIA certified document. GIA valuation and grading is more conservative than assessments by EGL, and other appraisers. I do not shop appraisers to inflate value.

Shipping:

I ship via USPS first class mail, within 3-5 business days of receiving your order. Shipping within the US is $4.00; shipping anywhere in the world, outside of the US, is $9.00. I absorb any extra costs and all of my parcels are fully insured at my expense. 

If you require expedited shipping, I am usually happy to arrange this service at-cost. Please contact me for a quote before making your purchase.

Returns:

Poor Mouchette guarantees authenticity and 100% satisfaction on all purchases. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it, for a full refund, within 5 days of delivery. Please contact me asap, in the event that you need to arrange a return. All returned jewelry must be received in the same condition it was in when it was sent to you. Jewelry will not be accepted for return if it has been damaged, altered or worn.

Buyers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, and for shipping insurance.

It is my policy not to issue partial refunds for any reason. Custom and customized items, discounted items, and items purchased via layaway are not eligible for return.

At this time, international sales are final.
