A pair of Georgian era dangling earrings, modeled in 18k gold, whose folied topaz gems float amid delicate canatille decor. These soft, pastel gems— a central, cool, blue-green pear shape, and four lilac-pink rounds— are held in thin, closed-back cut-down collets. The canatille decor that surrounds them is an arrangement of curling, beaded tendrils, and explosive "flowers" with clustered beads of granulation at center, and petals represented by fine, expertly coiled wire. The original shepherd's hook earwires are decorated with a further lilac-pink topaz, and this is flanked by a pair of tiny coil towers. A great rarity, especially in this pristine condition, these earrings are so ethereal and lovely— they pull at the heartstrings! They are medium-sized, lightweight, and very wearable.
