Vintage Modernist Whirlwind Ring with Diamonds in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A vintage modernist ring, modeled substantially in 14k gold, whose unusual figure can be compared to a diamond-encrusted cyclone. The ring head’s open, spiraling white gold form whorls around a weighty, diagonally-placed, yellow gold rod— the graduating white gold form is highly-dimensional and is enlivened by many bead-set white diamonds. This ring is visually challenging— the modernist's mantra is "make it new,"— it is dramatic, but easy to wear. The weighty, half-round shank curves at the base for a comfortable fit and to balance the weight of the ring head. This ring is tough and glamorous.
