Victorian Turquoise Link Bracelet with Bows
* * SOLD * *
A wonderful, late Victorian link bracelet, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose five, claw-set, turquoise gems link-up with a series of whimsical bows. These turquoise cabochons are substantial, natural, and untreated— they vary in the manner of specimens, ranging in color from robin's egg blue, to olive green. Each is truly unique and painterly, being beautifully figured with red-brown matrix. These cabochons are set in hand-fabricated mounts, where each is held in four, tapering claw-like prongs. The bows stationed between these turquoise cabochons are playful (as opposed to crisp) with soft loops and flowy tails. We love the contrast between the matrix-rich turquoise (a nod to the natural world), and the orderly, feminine sweetness of the gold bows! This bracelet closes with a spring ring clasp. It is marked 14k for purity.
