Victorian Turquoise & Diamond Bypass Ring
in 18k Gold & Platinum
* * SOLD * *
A very sweet Victorian-era ring, modeled in 18k rose gold and platinum, whose bypass style shank cradles a diagonally-oriented, three-stone head. The ring's three primary stones (a bright-blue, oval, turquoise cabochon, and a pair of old European cut diamonds) are held in prong settings. The ring's curling shank features a pair of old European cut diamond "finials" (held in crimped bezels), and four, bead-set, rose cut diamonds. The diamonds, here, are all set in platinum. The base of the ring, the shank, and the center prong setting are modeled in rose gold. This ring has a graceful, carefully-balanced form— we love the movement in the design, and the classic combination of turquoise and diamonds! This is very flattering in wear. It would make a lovely, unusual engagement ring.
