A scarce, Victorian-era, three-dimensional tiger mask pendant, modeled in 14k gold and beautifully painted with vitreous, polychrome enamel, in various shades of red, orange, brown, yellow, black, and white. This tiger is especially handsome, and he is highly-detailed. He wears an intense expression, and holds a small old mine cut diamond in his mouth, between his long, sharp incisors! His eyes are represented by bezel-set garnet cabochons. Our fierce friend is engraved (on the reverse) with a monogram, in period script (GWC). He hangs from a broad bail, that is fitted with a small split ring. Overall condition is lovely and the enamel is vibrant with very little loss. This is not a watch pin conversion— it has always been a pendant/fob.
