Victorian Era Wide Engraved Wedding Band with Forget Me Nots in 14k Gold
Poor Mouchette
* * SOLD * *
A wide, Victorian-era wedding band, modeled in 14k rose gold and decorated with an especially graceful forget-me-not motif. These five-petaled flowers, and their spiraling stems, are rendered in relief atop a series of medallion-like stations. The round, recessed stations each have a fine, hand-stippled ground, and they are separated by further, delicately engraved details— a repeating pattern of vertically-stacked trefoil leaves that flank a central diamond shape. This is a rare old darling— its flower motif is unusual and charming; its condition is outstanding. It would make a wonderful, unusual wedding band!
