Victorian Era OMC Diamond & Nephrite Jade Halo Ring in 10k Gold
Poor Mouchette
* * SOLD * *
A Victorian-era ring, whose satiny, oval, nephrite jade cabochon is encircled by a halo of the loveliest old mine cut diamonds. These old darlings have the tall presence and tiny tables that give them their unique, soulful character; their exquisite sparkle, set against the soft, opaque nephrite is especially winning. The jade cabochon is set in a milgrain bezel. The ring's carved under-gallery is a series of scallops that follows the path of each diamond setting. The slender, square ring shank is decorated, at each shoulder, with a small orange blossom and a pair of notches. This ring is beautifully imagined and is one of our current favorites.
