Victorian Era Old Cut Diamond Cluster Silver Top Flower Ring in 14k Gold
Poor Mouchette
* * SOLD * *
A striking, Victorian-era, cluster ring, modeled in silver and 14k yellow gold, whose nine old cut diamonds come together in the form of a flower. The chunky, old mine cut diamonds that make up the petals of this flower are set in silver collects. The central, .32 carat old European cut diamond (G/H, VS) is held in eight, claw-like, silver prongs. The ring's straight, half-round shank is modeled in 14k yellow gold, and its gallery is pierced in a simple, "windowed" manner. This ring has lived, and we have chosen to leave its original patina and polish intact. Its diamonds are well matched— the mine cut diamond petals are lively, white and eye clean, with varying clarity; the central diamond is similarly white and very clean. These diamonds are all hand-cut, with big, open culets, small tables, and charming shapes. They sparkle beautifully. CTW is approx .84 carats. We love this old darling for her lovely proportions and soulful presence!
