Victorian Garnet, Amethyst & Jade Station Chain
in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A striking, Victorian era, long guard station chain, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose lengths of slender, twisted rope are punctuated with bezel-set, gemstone spacers. These amethyst, garnet, and nephrite jade cabochons are domed on both sides— they are mounted in slim, “floating” bezels, so they are never upside down. This antique chain is fitted with a 14k gold dog clip, and it looks great supporting a meaningful charm. This chain can be worn doubled, in a draping manner, by clipping the chain to itself, and it is long enough to wrap the neck multiple times. This might also be worn as a many-strand bracelet. We love this rare old chain for its versatility and for its charming combination of colors— the earthy green, rich red, and soft purple are fresh and unexpected partners! Marked 14k for purity.
