Victorian Enameled OMC Diamond Cluster Ring
with Honeycomb in 18k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A beautiful, Victorian-era, diamond cluster ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold, whose nine old mine cut diamonds form a subtle flower shape at the center of the ring face. This diamond flower is surrounded by a honeycomb of open circles that spread down the ring’s shoulders and into its gallery. Vibrant, glassy, indigo blue enamel also decorates the ring’s shoulders, and it fills a small cell on either side of the gallery. The ring's half-round shank tapers toward the base. We love this ring for its delicate visual balance, and its lacy open-work circles! We also love the tiny "beaded" prongs that hold the clustered diamonds in place. Diamond CTW is approx .40 carats; the ring's primary diamond weighs approx .23 carats. This is marked "18," for purity.
