Minimal Emerald Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
* * SOLD * *
Timeless and elegant, a vintage, half-carat, emerald-cut diamond rests east/west, inside a smooth platinum bezel. This smooth bezel has lovely, crisp lines, and it connects seamlessly to the ring's slender, tapering, square-faced shank. This ring is modern, minimalist, and subtly geometric; its vintage diamond is white (G/H) and very clear (VVS), with an especially large table that creates an icy, hall-of-mirrors effect. This ring is made entirely in platinum; it is polished to a mirror shine. This is low-profile . . . special but unfussy . . . it would make a wonderful engagement or commitment ring.
This ring was designed by Poor Mouchette and handcrafted in Portland, OR, by collaborating, independent craftspeople— even the vintage diamond was sourced locally.
This ring can be resized; resizing for this ring (sizes 5 - 9) is complimentary.
Ring face measures approx 6.4 x 5.2 mm; rise is approx 3.2 mm; shank measures 1.3 x 18 mm at the shoulder and tapers to approx 1.75 x 1 mm at the base; diamond actual weight is .49 carats; CC is G/H, VVS. Diamonds are independently graded by a GIA graduate gemologist.
