Mid 20th Century Graphic Malachite Apple Ring with Coral in 18k Gold

A playful, mid 20th century ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold, whose face takes the form of an apple. The body of this apple is a beautifully-figured, flush-set, polished, malachite slab. A small coral leaf perches atop the green fruit, alongside its curved, gold stem. This ring's low-profile setting is highly-structured and airy, with a bypass-style shank that makes it very comfortable in wear. Our charming apple calls Apple Records to mind, and Eve (that much-maligned, trailblazing first woman), and teachers, of course.
