An early 20th century (c.1909) silver love token, decorated with a hand-engraved star and the sentiment Er Sei Dein Glücksstern— "may this be your lucky star." Here the star is decorated with bright red enamel and accompanied by expressive lines that represent its shining. The German phrase is enameled in black. We have mounted this antique token in a newly-hand-made 18k gold frame, where it is surround by a series of 20 round brilliant cut diamonds (G/H, VS). These sparklers are held in small bezels that create the pendant's bubbly, scalloped edge. The token's reverse is engraved with the monogram GM and the year 1909. The pendant hangs from an oversized round jump ring.
This was made locally, in Portland OR, by collaborating, independent designers and craftspersons. Even the reclaimed diamonds were sourced locally. We have taken care to preserve the original condition of the love token— it retains its original surface wear and natural patina.
