A contemporary modernist ring of our own design, featuring an anticlastic, dish-like head, and a broad, tapering, synclastic shank. A plump, lozenge-shaped, aquamarine cabochon sits at the center of the ring's softly-rectangular face, in a smooth bezel. We think this shallow platter, and it's glowing gem, give the impression of an offering (palms up)! The dish and bezel are polished to a mirror shine; the ring shank is delicately brushed. This design nods both to the mid twentieth century designs we love, and to the ancient designs those vintage rings reference. This is a large ring with a balanced, serene visual quality. It is very cozy in wear.

This was entirely handcrafted in Portland, OR, by collaborating, independent craftspeople and designers. Even the aquamarine cabochon was cut locally, from rough material.
