Thirteen smaller, old cut diamonds encrust the ribbon-like face of the ring shank, and an additional, bezel-set, OEC diamond rests between the primary diamonds, like a punctuation mark. This ring's slender shank is reeded, and it tapers toward the base. Art Nouveau era rings, like this one, are becoming quite uncommon. Toi et Moi is French for "you and me—" the romantic sentiment expressed by these balanced, two stone rings, which extolls the virtues of an equal and loving partnership, was popular around the turn of the century and through the Art Deco era.
