Poor Mouchette | Curated Antique Jewelry, Vintage Jewelry & Engagement Rings | A late vintage, Art Deco style ring, modeled in 18k white gold, whose primary gem is a large, step-cut aquamarine (about 2.35 carats). This faceted aqua is a soft, pale blue color, inflected with subtle green undertones— it is held in a low-profile, milgrained bezel, where it is surround by a halo of fourteen, bead-set, round brilliant cut diamonds, and a pair of bezel-set baguettes.

The ring's pierced gallery features a simple decor of circular spacers. Its cathedral shoulders are decorated with trios of small, round diamonds. It's half round shank is slender and it tapers toward the base. This ring was made using Art Deco design and construction principals— it appears to be entirely hand-fabricated and passes very well for a true Art Deco ring, though it was made later, in the 1990s. We love it for its very low profile, its beautiful proportions, and the serene color of the aquamarine! This would make a wonderful alternative engagement ring.
