Art Deco Era 3/4 Carat Transitional Diamond Ring with Floral Engraving in 18k Gold
Poor Mouchette

An elegant, Art Deco era, wide band ring, modeled in 18k white gold and featuring a bright, lively (G/H, VS), 3/4 carat, transitional cut diamond. This diamond is bead set into a squarish, elongated, octagonal seat. Beautiful, deeply-engraved floral motifs decorate the ring head, surrounding the sparkling old gem— traditional orange blossoms are posted at the cardinal points (NSEW), and little forget-me-nots rest inside round medallions, between them. The ring's shoulders are decorated with even more hand-engraved details— a half-flower with a radiant leaf, and more orange blossoms, here inside elongated, diamond-shaped frames. The ring's broad shank tapers toward the base. We love the bold, weighty quality of this ring, contrasted with the expressive, almost feminine floral decor. This ring was originally intended for a man, but is well suited to all genders. It would make a wonderful engagement or wedding ring.
