A pair of Art Deco era drop earrings, modeled in platinum and 18k yellow gold, whose many old cut diamonds and blue sapphires are arranged in the manner of a target, or flower-like cluster. At the center of each cluster, a .40 carat old European cut diamond is held in a low-profile, milgrained bezel. Surrounding this primary diamond, a ring of medium blue calibre cut sapphires, which are in turn haloed by a series of chunky old European cut diamonds. A single bezel set diamond floats above our clusters— a finial for each ear wire. Earwires are posts with clever, hinged, locking leaver mechanisms. These earrings make a big visual impact, while remaining elegant and somewhat restrained. They are a great scale for frequent wear, and special enough for occasions! We especially love the scalloped outer edge of these clusters, and the fine milgrained details that finish every "border."

Notes

We have left the original patina intact, here. The old patina lends a warmth to the metal, and subtle color variations/mottling will not be noticeable, in hand. If you would prefer the earrings polished, please leave a note at checkout.
