Architectural Art Deco Era Three Stone Engagement Ring in 18k Gold
Poor Mouchette
* * SOLD * *
A stylized, Art Deco engagement ring, modeled in 18k white gold, whose trio of gems are a French cut, created, blue sapphire, and a sparkling pair of transitional-cut, white diamonds. These gems are oriented in a tidy, horizontal row, where they are held in square seats— each of these seats is finished with a fine milgrain edge. This ring has a unique, dimensional quality, that gives it an aerodynamic feel— we think the geometry of the ring face is especially winning, as it appears either paneled or folded like origami! This ring is also heavily hand-engraved with various period motifs: wheat patterns, folate patterns, and a lovely gesture beneath the shoulder that reads like a wing, or draped fabric. The ring's gallery is shapely and carefully pierced . . . its profile is low and easy-wearing . . . every angle is elegant and interesting!
