1940s Amethyst Spearheads Ring in Two Tone 10k Gold
Poor Mouchette
* * SOLD * *

A dandy, streamlined, 1940s ring, modeled in 10k white gold, whose shoulders feature a charming, engraved, rose gold detail. This hand-engraved motif calls to mind an arrowhead, or the tip of a spear— it gives the impression of speed. This ring features a big, beautiful, faceted, amethyst (approx 6.4 carats). The highly-saturated, violet-purple gem is held in a smooth bezel; small hashes decorate the bezel's base. This ring has a broad, tapering shank, and classic profile; it is well-suited to all genders, but was originally intended for a man. Condition is outstanding.
