A Victorian-era, flower-form cluster ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold, whose primary gem is a natural, old-mine (cushion) cut sapphire. This highly-saturated, deep blue sapphire is held in tapering prongs, where it is surrounded by a series of eight sparkling, old European cut diamonds (G/H, VS-SI). Our chunky, antique diamonds are mounted in a prongs that are integral to the ring's crown-like head. The ring's shapely, notched cathedral shoulders flank its flower-like cluster of gemstones. Its yellow gold shank is reeded, and it tapers toward the base. We love the proportions here, the complimentary colors, and the way the ring's substantial shoulders balance (and interest to) this beloved form!
