Timeless and refined, an antique, 1.45 carat emerald-cut diamond rests inside a polished, low-profile bezel. This smooth bezel has crisp lines, with soft edges; it connects seamlessly to the ring's substantial, half-round shank. This engagement ring is modern, minimalist, and subtly geometric; its antique diamond is white (I) and very clear (VS1), with an especially large face-up (its 7.5 x 6.5 mm face gives it the appearance of a 1.75-2 carat diamond). This ring is modeled in 18k yellow gold. It is finished with a high, mirror polish. We love emerald cuts for the elegance and control they project, and for the hall-of-mirrors effect created by their long, linear pattern of facets! 

This ring was designed by Poor Mouchette and handcrafted in Portland, OR, by collaborating, independent craftspeople— even the antique diamond was sourced locally.
