A striking late-vintage ring, modeled in 14k yellow and white gold, whose primary gem is a large, raspberry-pink (earthy), rubellite tourmaline double cabochon. This glowing, two-sided cab is held in a smooth, white gold bezel, where it is surrounded by a halo of sparkling, round brilliant cut diamonds (F/G, VS). The diamonds are mounted in fishtail prongs which are integral to the ring's crown-like head. The ring's half-round shank is slender but weighty, and it tapers toward the base. We love the unusual color of the rubellite, here, and the pool-of-light style glow the double cab creates!
This ring is cast, and it has a very substantial feel. Marked for purity.
