Erica Winters Orange-Red Sapphire Georgia Halo Ring

A low-profile, halo-style engagement ring by the designer Erika Winters. Modeled in 18k yellow gold, this ring's elongated octagonal face centers on a natural, bezel-set, 1.44 carat orange-red sapphire (Madagascar, no heat). The "halo" surrounding this radiant-cut gem is snatched at the waist, where there are subtly-concave, brushed gold surfaces; to the North and South, milgrained, diamond-set channels fan out, like rays of light emanating from the fiery sapphire at center. Split three ways, the ring's diamond-set shoulders are tucked under the ring head, to keep it low profile. The ring's slender, squared shank is a full circlet that widens slightly toward the base.

This contemporary ring is hand-crafted, and the construction is especially fine! The sapphire possess exceptional clarity, color-saturation, and vibrance. This is marked for purity and with the maker's mark.
