Art Nouveau Flower Stem Brooch With Pearls & OMC Diamonds
in 14k Gold & Silver
* * SOLD * *
An elegant, Art Nouveau era brooch, modeled in rosy 14k yellow gold with a silver top. This antique brooch takes the form of a graceful stem, with two nodding trefoil blossoms. The ribbon-like stems, here, are bead-set with small old mine cut diamonds that graduate toward the center. The trefoil blossoms are each composed of two larger, bezel-set, early old mine cut diamonds, and one natural, silvery, sea pearl. The construction of this brooch is especially fine, and it looks striking worn horizontally, or vertically! This bears a series of three obscured hallmarks, on the pin stem. Closure is a c-catch with a dropping lock.

Notes
The diamonds, here, are white and very clean. One of the larger diamonds has a chip and one has a small natural. The other stones are H-I, VS1-VS2. We have chosen to leave this brooch original, since the diamond cuts are quite old, and perfectly matched. Condition is generally excellent, and because of the angular nature of these old cuts, nothing appears flawed.
