A dendritic agate ring, fabricated in 18k yellow gold by the designer Gabriella Kiss. This gate has a serene presence— it is figured with feathery, red-brown plumes that appear frozen, mid-sway, inside its clear, chalcedony field. The agate is held in a smooth, low-profile, closed-back bezel that perches atop the ring’s slender, fully-round shank. Because this gem is set over a thin slice of white material (mother of pearl?), the dendrites cast beautiful shadows, which add much to the scene’s already wonderful visual depth. We love dendritic agates for their one-of-a-kind nature, and because each one is like a miniature world! This ring is marked by the maker and for purity. It stacks well with slender bands.
