Vintage Tourmaline & Diamond Cocktail Ring in 18k Gold & Platinum
* * SOLD * *

An elegant, mid 20th century cocktail ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold and platinum, and featuring a magnificent, highly saturated chrome tourmaline. This 12 carat, step-cut gem is held in four corner corner mount prongs, and is flanked by two trios of brilliant-cut white diamonds. The diamonds are off-set in a balanced but slightly quirky manner, as if they might be capable of sliding along the outer edge of the tourmaline, to shift positions. This ring is expertly made and finished, and it's focal stone is unusually large and fine.
