Victorian Era Tassel Pendant with Tracery Enamel in 14k Gold
$ 695.00

A Victorian-era pendant, modeled in three colors of 14k gold, and designed with a nine-piece fringe of foxtail chain. This dynamic fringe is riveted into pendant’s central, shield-shaped plaque, which is decorated with fine, engraved, textural details, and black, tracery enamel. This lovely plaque is further embellished with three-dimensional leaves, and is set with a single natural seed pearl that appears to nest between them. The original decorative bail is very cool and functions like clip. This beautiful object is full of excellent texture and movement! While it is possible this was originally worn as a watch fob on a gentleman's vest-front, it makes an ideal pendant and looks especially fine worn on a long chain.

Notes
Two of the tiny ball ends are missing from the bottom of the chain fringe. This is a small issue and it does not impact the visual effect of the pendant (we missed it on the first pass). Otherwise flawless.
