A Victorian era, repoussé locket, modeled in 10k yellow gold, featuring the image of a handsome tiger, baring its teeth. Our fierce friend draws back his lips, revealing long pointed canines, betwixt which a small old mine cut diamond rests in a four prong setting. Our tiger's unflinching eyes are small ruby cabochons. His ears are flattened. His brow is knitted, and his ruffs stand off his face in elegant waves. This locket is polished smooth on the reverse. The locket's photo rings are present, but the photo covers are not. This hangs from a large jump ring. These solid gold, turn-of-the-century, repoussé lockets are becoming quite rare. We love them as signature pieces! This locket is well suited to a fierce personality, or to someone with a protective spirit. It might also be worn as a protective amulet. Marked 10k for purity.
