Two Tone Filigree Diamond Engagement Ring with Sapphires in 18k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A striking Art Deco era diamond engagement ring, with a raised, diamond-shaped head. This 18k white gold ring features a very pretty half-carat old European cut diamond (G/H, VS1), that is bead set in a hex shaped seat. Two small cornflower blue sapphires (natural) sit above and below the central stone. The ring's dimensional and deeply tapered shoulders are decorated with a crosshatch pattern that is overlaid with a thin layer of rose gold. The folate filigree work is delicate, and the unusual combination of rose gold, white gold, and the cornflower blue of the sapphires make this design especially winning.
