A vibrant, mid-20th-century cocktail ring, modeled in platinum and featuring a large, oval, rubellite tourmaline. This raspberry-colored gem is set in a smooth bezel, where it rests encircled by a series of small, bezel-set, brilliant cut white diamonds. Each of these dainty bezels is finished with a fine milgrained edge. The ring's undergallery is bulbous and decoratively pieced. Its shoulders are each embellished with three further diamonds— these stones are mounted in tube bezels, of graduating size, to striking effect. This is a bold, feminine jewel, expertly finished and designed with really wonderful proportions.
