A darling, Victorian-era, opal and diamond ring, made in 12k rose gold, whose central, white opal cabochon is held in fourteen, slender, hand-formed prongs. This opal has a bright, blue-white tone and its rainbow-colored fire presents in a scattered, confetti pattern. The opal is framed by a glinting halo of silvery, prong-set, rose cut diamonds. This ring has an ornate crown-like gallery. Its shank tapers from the notched shoulders. Marked with a 12 to indicate metal purity.
