Late Victorian Five Stone Almandine Garnet & Rose Cut Diamond Ring in 18k Gold
Poor Mouchette
* * SOLD * *

An elegant, late-Victorian, five-stone ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold and set with a series of deep-red, almandine garnets. These faceted, oval gems graduate in size, with the largest in the center— between them, small, flinty, rose cut diamonds lay stationed in triangular seats. This ring is fashioned with a deeply-scrolled, carved gallery that extends into its shoulders— the prongs that hold the garnets grow out of this ornate scrollwork. The ring's half-round shank tapers toward the base. This would make a lovely, unique wedding or anniversary band. Marked 18ct for purity.
