An early 20th century ring, that takes the form of a gracefully knotted snake. This sweet creature is modeled in 14k rose gold, and his head is crowned with a brilliant-pink garnet doublet. Because of his gentle expression and the color of his gemmy mind, I like to think that he has a rose-colored perspective on life! The asymmetrical style of the looping knot makes this design somewhat unusual. All of these stones are original and, since emerald is a soft stone, the emerald eyes show a good deal of wear, under magnification. This ring is especially handsome in wear!
Ring face measures 15 mm x 14.8 mm; shank measures approx 4.7 mm at the shoulder and tapers very subtly to approx 3.7 mm at the base. Garnet measures approx 3.5 mm; emeralds measure approx 1.5 mm.
