Edwardian Era Buckled Garter Circle Necklace in 14k Gold

$ 675.00

A weighty, turn-of-the-century buckled garter, made in 14k yellow and rose gold to symbolize your commitment to something (or just because you’re mad about buckles!). We’ve attached this handsome object to a medium-weight, 14k gold cable chain. Buckle, belts, and garters, like snakes, symbolize eternity, fidelity, and loyalty. This lovely example is a perfect circle that threads back into itself, thus completing an eternal loop. The way the belt-end threads the buckle, here, is very realistic, and the smooth, satin-finished texture is very satisfying! Closure is a lobster clasp.
