A sterling silver cuff bracelet, made by the important American-modernist silversmith Ed Wiener. This two layer bracelet is an early, rarely-offered design, and I have not seen another example with a question mark overlay— usually the cutaway on the top layer is a blackened, empty space. The silver sheets used in the fabrication of this cuff are soldered together only at the cuff ends— there is space between the layers where the bracelet curves at the center. This is unique and impressive in wear . . . a gem in any advanced collection of modernist jewelry. Marked Ed Wiener, Sterling.
