At the top of the agate, a splash of carnelian that reads like a sun shining down. Amid the plumes, a striking \"wormhole—\" a dendrite's tunnel lined with lavender, and subtly-edged with red! At the base of the agate, another wormhole, edged with gold. A halo of twenty-two, chunky old mine cut diamonds surrounds our agate— these are held in clawed prongs that are integral to the ring's crown-like head. The ring's substantial flat-wire shank is styled with a simple cathedral shoulder. Ornate, engraved script on the ring's reverse memorializes Eliz Rufsell, died May, 1781, at the age of 37.
