Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Filigree Wreath Necklace in 14k White Gold
* * SOLD * *
An Art Deco era filigree necklace, modeled as a wreath, in 14k white-gold. This intricately pierced wreath features a gem-set bow, at its base--- a 1/4 carat cornflower blue sapphire rests at the bow's center, where it is flanked by two old European cut diamonds. These fifteen point diamonds are white with lots of sparkle; the pale blue sapphire and the bright white metal make this an ideal bridal jewel. The integral white-gold cable chain is slender but weighty.
Total length is approx 17". Diamonds measure approx 3.3 mm, each (about 0.30 tcw); sapphire measures approx 3.75 mm (about 0.25 carats). Wreath diameter is approx 24.5 mm. Chain thickness is approx 1.5 mm. Weight is 5 approx grams.
This wreath was originally a small brooch; it has been carefully and artfully converted by my jeweler.
