Art Deco Era Floral Compass Diamond Cluster Ring in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *

A sweet Art Deco era cluster ring, modeled in 14k yellow and white gold, whose openwork face features an arrangement of floral forms, posted around a central bezel set diamond. These curvaceous, diamond-set blooms sit to the North, South, East, and West of the primary diamond (the cardinal directions), lending the design the feel of a nautical compass. Four further diamonds sit at the ordinal directions, between these cardinal points. This is a beautiful, lacy old darling— its diamonds are bright and lively, and its rise is low, wearing very close to the finger. The slender ring shank is decoratively pierced at the shoulder and tapers toward the base.
