Art Deco Era Elongated Hexagon Sapphire & Three Diamond Ring in 19k Gold
* * SOLD * *
An Art Deco era ring, modeled in 19k white gold, whose elegant, elongated, hexagonal face is set with three sparkling, transitional cut diamonds, and four French cut blue sapphires. The three diamonds are bead set, and organized vertically in the center of the ring face; the sapphires create a feeling of geometry, posted in a linear fashion to either side of the diamond trio. The ring's gallery is decorated with festooning, pierced-and-engraved folate designs. The ring shank is engraved at the shoulders with a delicate, repeating wheat motif. This is a striking and unusual antique ring— its proportions, low-profile, and geometric qualities make it quite at home in the contemporary jewelry world. Marked 19k for purity.
