Antique Egyptian Revival Bloodstone Signet Ring with Temple Asps in 10k Gold
* * SOLD * *

A tough and dandy, early-twentieth-century signet ring, made in 10k yellow gold and featuring a pair of asps that twine up its elaborately carved shoulders. These snake friends stand guard to either side of the ring's bloodstone gem— the high-polished, rectangular bloodstone is beautifully figured, with an even deep green field and well-defined, bright-red dots and lashes that give it its common name. It is held securely in a series of low-profile, tab-style prongs. This ring is fierce, lovely, and well-suited to all genders, but it was originally intended for a man.
