A compelling 1990s necklace, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose centerpiece is weighty, crescent-shaped, and studded with three flush-set diamonds. This crescent is matte-finished and highly textural; its segmented form is both organized and organic-seeming, with ridges, collars, and nodules that come together to insinuate some kind of biomech— a mechanical caterpillar, or a relic from an HR Geiger illustration. This golden crescent is capped with two square, step-cut, bezel-set diamonds. The step-cut diamonds have an earthy, pinkish hue, and the round diamonds are a cognac color. The necklace's slender snake chain extends from the capped ends like a cable, and closes with a lobster clasp. This lays beautifully flat in wear, resting at collarbone length.
