1940s Tiered Eye Diamond Engagement Ring in 14k White Gold
* * SOLD * *
A 1940s engagement ring, modeled in 14k white gold, with a tiered, marquise-shaped face, and a pretty pierced gallery (I think this shape looks very much like an eye)! The central, .45 carat brilliant cut diamond is accented by a carefully orchestrated gathering of smaller sparklers— pairs of diamonds in rectangular seats flank the focal stone, and individual diamonds, in shapely seats, encrust the rest of the ring face. All stones are bead set. Milgrain details abound. This sparkly creature is a WWII era classic, and it has a big presence in wear.
