1920s OMC Diamond Crowned Three Snake Ring in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *

A charming, Art Deco era three snake ring, modeled in 14k rosy yellow gold, whose sinuous diamond-eyed subjects are each crowned with an old mine cut diamond. These beautifully-textured fellows move in alternating directions, the center snake swallowing his tail, in ouroboros fashion, the other two with slender, wiggly tails that overlap their bodies. This ring has a wide band and a dramatic presence on the hand. It would make an especially wonderful ring for someone that has three loves, a family of three, or for someone who identifies with the idea of the Moirae. Marked 14k for purity and for an as-yet unidentified maker.
