Mid Century Modernist Star Temple Ring

A very cool mid 20th century modernist ring, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose form suggests architecture— a castle or a temple, perhaps projecting from the sheer face of a mountain! This little structure is outfitted with spires and accented with tiny brilliant cut diamonds; a royal blue Linde star sapphire cabochon sits at the base of the ring face, in a sort of doorway. This sculptural ring is highly evocative— we feel there's something mystical/spiritual about its design, and it carries with it both futuristic ideas and elements of the natural world (rock, ice, etc.). The carved textures are especially beautiful! This ring is medium-scale, and it's striking in wear. The sapphire is marked on the reverse with a cursive L, identifying it as an original Linde lab star. The asterism in this star is strong, with straight, well-define rays.
