Victorian Era Tiger Mask Ring with OMC Diamonds in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A weighty, Victorian-era, tiger mask ring, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose subject holds a .20 carat old mine cut diamond in his open mouth. This fierce, roaring fellow has a lovely face that, though time-worn, retains its important features and textures. Our beastie’s watchful eyes are also set with small, glinting, old mine cut diamonds. The ring's half-round shank is carved with bold, dimensional flourishes at the shoulder, and it tapers toward the base. This ring might be worn as a reminder to remain vigilant and stout-hearted, or as a classic talisman of protection. Lion and tiger form rings from this era are becoming increasingly rare. Marked 14k for purity.
