Victorian Era Green Turquoise & OMC Diamond Halo Ring in 14k Rose Gold
* * SOLD * *
A darling, Victorian-era, turquoise and diamond ring, modeled in 14k rose gold, whose central, turquoise gem is held aloft in twelve, claw-like prongs. This turquoise cabochon is olive green with subtle variegation that lightens toward its edges, where it is touched, almost imperceptibly, with pale blue. It is framed by a glinting halo of tiny old mine cut diamonds, held in fishtail settings. This low-profile ring has an ornate crown-like gallery. Its simple, half-round shank tapers from the shoulder. Marked with a 14 to indicate purity. These dainty, Victorian, diamond halo rings are always among our favorite pieces. This turquoise may be from the Cerillos mine, as it closely resembles that material.
