Victorian Era Five Stone Purple Garnet Ring in 15k Gold
* * SOLD * *

A Victorian-era five stone ring, set with a suite of faceted grape garnets. These oval gemstones graduate in size and are set in pronged bezels— decorative gold spheres adorn the spaces between these bezels, and the ring face is framed by a twist border. The ring's shoulders are decorated with hand engraving that travels down the length of the shank. This ring retains its full series of English hallmarks and was made in Birmingham, in the year 1872. These garnets are unusual and extra special for their vivid purple hue.
